Water sports on Lake Garda
Where you find the perfect wind to ride the waves
At Lake Garda there are two winds: the Ora blowing from south to north in the afternoon and the Peler blowing from north to south in the morning; an exchange that establishes the perfect conditions for water sports.
If you want to ride the waves of Italy's largest body of water, all you have to do is choose from the many possibilities: sailboat, catamaran, surf, kitesurf, stand-up paddling, which combines the surfboard with a paddle, wakeboarding, also called snowboarding on the water, and parasailing, where you fly with a parachute behind the boat.
In addition, the many coastal towns offer nautical centres and the latest schools that provide professional support for your days dedicated to boundless fun on the lake.
